What is included in the £299 package?
The package includes a professionally designed 3-page website (Home, About and Contact), contact form, basic SEO setup, cookie consent banner, privacy and cookie policies, and mobile-friendly design.
This does not include hosting which is the monthly fee to host your website on a server and for it to be published to the internet.
Hosting is available through Braystone if required. See Braystone hosting packages.
This package also does not include a domain name. If you already own a domain name, it can usually be used for your new website. If you need a new domain, Braystone can register one on your behalf or you can purchase and manage your own.
Can the design be customised?
Yes. Colours, images, text and branding will be tailored to your business. The underlying layout remains based on the chosen template.
What do I need to provide?
You will need to provide your logo, written content, images and any contact information you would like displayed on the website.
Can I add more pages?
Yes. Additional pages can be added for an extra fee and will be quoted separately based on your requirements.
Can I sell products online?
How long does it take?
Most starter websites can be completed within 1-2 weeks once all content has been supplied.
Do I own the website?
Yes. You retain full ownership of the website and all associated files upon completion.
Do I have to use your hosting?
No. You are free to host the website wherever you choose. Fast UK hosting is available through Braystone if required.
What happens if I need to make a change to my site after is been handed over?
Support is available after launch and can be tailored to your requirements. Whether you need occasional assistance or ongoing maintenance, Braystone can help.
Please note the Braystone Platinum care hosting package includes one hour of support per month.
What platform will the site be built upon?
It will be built on WordPress using Elementor as the page builder.
What makes your offer different from companies that advertise a free website build?
Free build websites can often miss critical structural elements such as a cookie consent banner, a privacy policy, a cookie policy, being accessible, being responsive or they may not be configured for SEO. These are important for any website for GDPR and also to attract search engine traffic.
Many free website providers require you to host the website with them and charge an ongoing monthly fee. You then rent the website from them for as long as you wish – but you do not own the website files. This can be problematic if you wish to move the website to an alternative host in the future and will typically result in the site needing to be rebuilt elsewhere at your expense.
Hosting contracts can be fixed and fees can be inflexible. Braystone offers three hosting tiers to suit all budgets and has no minimum term so you are free to leave when you like.
Problems may also arise if you have email accounts tied to the hosting of the free website company. If you wish to move hosts, are you able to download or transfer your mailboxes to a new host?
Typically with the free website providers, you are not provided access to the server where your website sits. Hosting with Braystone provides full access to your server where you can manage all aspects of your environment via cPanel. It provides full flexibility and allows the transfer of your website to another host if required.
